BNB is an Indian firm that rolls out numerous plant seeds and edible oils. One such product from BNB is Flax seed or Lin seed oil. The company also processes Flax seeds for consumption.
Nutritional Facts: As the name suggests, this is a virgin oil i.e. it is cold compressed. Every 100 grams of BNB Flax seed oil has about 29 gm of polyunsaturated fatty acids. It also has about 18 grams of protein, 27 grams of dietary fibers as well as Vitamin B6, Vitamin C, Iron, Magnesium and Calcium. The product does not contain any coloring agent. This is one of the most popular flaxseed oil in India currently. The quality of the product has been consistently good and there are many satisfied customers out there.
Storage: BNB recommends storing the oil at the room temperature, up to 30 degree Celsius.
Expiration: The oil is usable for 9 months from the date of manufacture.
I want to buy BNB Flaxseed oil but I am not convinced about the fact that the company recommends storing it at room temperature. Flaxseed oil is highly unstable and volatile and goes rancid pretty quickly. Mostly everyone out there suggests ALWAYS refrigerating it in order to avoid it going bad. Moreover, it looks like the oil has not been packaged in a dark bottle which is also not good since Light will also lead to the rancidity of the oil. I am a little worried.
