The best and only solution for solving the disputes after every bodybuilding champuionship , is make the score sheet of each judges transparent to every body ,by showing the marks on th computer screen after each category. Appoint minimum 7 judges in each category. Suppose if any judges are showing partiality by giving more marks or less marks ,their mark will be adjusted automatically by making it as the average of total marks. There should not be any involvement of the organizers or other chief officials of the tournament, in the score sheet. This will give confidence to the Competitors for giving more fight as well as to each judges that their marks are very important for creating the champions and automatically they are more respected. At the present condition every competitors are afraid that whatever performance they are giving, that may not be reflected in the result, even if the results are correct. in every Olympic games like gymnastic, synchronized swimming etc, where there is no clear measurement is not possible like bodybuilding, the computer system is adopted, by showing the marks of each judges. This system can be easily adopted in bodybuilding, if the chief officials are willing to adopt it and so our IBBF can be proud of its impartial judgement. I know it very clearly that many bodybuilders stop their career by getting depressed on the judgement results. This should not be happened to any one because bodybuilding is the most toughest game and also most expensive game but most of them are coming from middle class families. As far as this is a govt. recognized body, it should be made clear that impartial judgement is guaranteed. I being the senior most bodybuiler of India submit it for the kind consideration of IBBF Authorities for the welfare of our game.
Thats a very good suggestion Peter .. I hope someone from IBBF our feedback.
